About NexoPeek

NexoPeek, developed by Seven Sportz, is a biotech VR education application for Meta Quest. It turns a headset into an immersive molecular laboratory where students, educators, and researchers can step inside proteins, watch drugs act atom by atom, and analyze real structures at human scale.

NexoPeek pairs 12 narrated guided tours — from ATP and hemoglobin to CRISPR and plastic-eating enzymes — with a comprehensive PDB visualizer connected to the open scientific web: RCSB PDB, UniProt, AlphaFold, PrankWeb, Foldseek, ChEMBL, and PubChem.

Why NexoPeek

  • Guided tours: 12 narrated VR journeys across 6 pillars, from structural-biology basics to gene editing.
  • Real data: experimental structures via X-ray crystallography plus AI-predicted folds at 95–99% accuracy.
  • Bare-hand interaction: grab, scale, rotate, and step inside molecules — no command line, no workstation.
  • Analysis bench: one-tap scenes, pocket prediction, ligand inspection, distance measurement, structural alignment.

12 guided tours, 6 pillars

Narrated VR journeys that stage each mechanism in 3D — from reading your first molecule to editing genes and digesting plastic. Every tour runs on real structures from the Protein Data Bank.

Pillar 0

Introduction to Biotechnology

Learn to read molecules before exploring them.

Pillar 1

Foundations of Life

Energy currency and oxygen delivery.

Pillar 2

Pathways & Interactions

Metabolic engines and molecular scissors.

Pillar 3

Medicine: Drugs & Vaccines

Watch drugs sabotage, jam, and rescue.

Pillar 4

Genetic Technologies

Editing and rewinding the code of life.

Pillar 5

Biotech & Material Science

Enzymes that eat plastic.

A comprehensive PDB visualizer in VR

Beyond guided tours, NexoPeek is a full molecular visualization and analysis bench. Load any experimental structure or AI-predicted model, style it with one tap, isolate chains, measure atoms, predict pockets, and align structures — all at human scale, with bare hands or Quest controllers.

Anatomy of the NexoPeek virtual laboratory menu

Six tabs run the bench: Search, Load, Presentation, Chains, Analyze, View.

Six one-tap scene presets

Cartoon + Ligand
Sleek backbone cartoon with bound hetero-compounds highlighted.
Ball & Stick
Explicit atoms and bonds as spheres and cylinders.
Spacefill CPK
Full van der Waals radii in CPK colors for steric surfaces.
Cartoon + Pocket
Catalytic sites and binding pockets beside the main chain.
Tube Trace
Polymer backbone simplified to a smoothed tube.
B-Factor Heat
Temperature-factor gradient: flexibility vs rigidity.

Why video walkthroughs?

Short walkthroughs show what each tour teaches and how the visualizer bench works — search routing, one-tap scenes, pocket prediction, and structural alignment — so you know exactly what to explore first in the headset.

Walkthrough videos are on the way

We are producing tour previews and visualizer demos for NexoPeek. Meanwhile, find our latest uploads on the Seven Sportz channel.

From invisible to interactive

Proteins, RNA, and enzymes have been trapped in static textbooks and 2D screens. The ultimate barrier to breakthrough discovery is visualization — most biotechnology discoveries occur by simply observing one molecule act on another.

NexoPeek replaces rote memorization with mechanical understanding. Instead of pathway diagrams, you watch glucose break down into ATP, aspirin sabotage COX, and Cas9 unzip DNA — physically in front of you, at a scale you can walk around.
